Gary W. Sherwold

Gary W. Sherwold began his career in the financial industry at an affiliate branch of the Bank of Tokyo based in Southern California. During this time, he began to recognize his client's needs from an individual perspective. Mr. Sherwold then made the transition to securities firms where he was able to provide greater service and products to meet his clients' changing needs. However, the internal structure of a security firm restricted his ability to satisfy all of his clients' financial needs.

As a result Mr. Sherwold decided to establish an independent investment advisory firm, G. W. Sherwold Associates, Inc., which would allow him the freedom to help all clients achieve financial independence. To best serve his clients, he then invited other financial professionals in the industry who shared his same business philosophy and vision to work with him at G. W. Sherwold Associates, Inc.

Gary has provided sound, time-proven financial advice for over thirty years and is very proud that a large percentage of his original clients from thirty years ago remain clients of G.W. Sherwold today.

Gary and his wife Keely have been together since 1977 and happily married since 1983. They were blessed with two daughters and a son, and have three grandsons. Everyone lives locally in South Orange County, and the family enjoys time together often. Gary and his family are hockey fans of the Anaheim Ducks, and he enjoys gardening and getting away for a few days to stream fish in the High Sierras whenever he gets the chance.
